spare key

Hi guys and girls ,does anyone no where i can buy a cheap blank key with chip,finding it hard find one.
its for 2005 freelander 1.

i can not answer that but dont the chips have to be progarmed to the car

The keys need to be programmed with the immobilisation data so the only place is your local land rover dealer.

If you need a key just to open door then your local key cutting place can help.

cheers guys,landrover dealears want around £130 just for key and to be programmed,ouch.
our local car shop says he could programme and cut it if i could get a blank chipped key,ill keep looking.

Hi guys,just to let you no i managed to get new key with chip and programmed at my local car parts dealer,half the price that landrover dealer wanted,all keys and fobs programmed,call allen at A1motors hemel hempstead hertfordshire,01442244831/234315.
well pleased with mine all works fine hope this helps anyone with any spare key or fob problem.
