I bet this one has been asked before. I have fitted an alloy wheel its a disco mk1 wheel to match the 4 I have on my defender 90 TD5. It rattles a gooden, I have fitted alloy wheel nuts on the rear door 3 prong mount, but the nuts behind appear too small. Whats the solution? Cant bear the rattling

Can't picture it but it sounds like there is something missing that takes up the space. Or do you simply need bigger nuts behind the wheel?

If you get some alloy wheel nuts and remove the alloy cover, drill? Through the centre and fit in place of the steel wheel nuts behind the wheel. You may also need to reduce the length to allow the outer but to pinch the wheel tight.
Or just some large washers? (On it inside of the wheel of course.)
