Gas BBQ's are fine ...

"Open fires are not permissible but barbeques and gas stoves are welcome provided they are raised off and do not damage the grass. They also need to be suitably sited and attended so that they are not a hazard to other campers."

... they also have a cafe on site so you don't even have to cook for this first one!

Yeh im looking forward to this un too, i know some of the lanes already and done some of em in the past but 70% i havnt and thats the bit im looking forward to, not knowing what the lanes have in store for us, we do the peaks quite regularly and some of the most technical lanes that the peaks have to offer do become a bit monotonous (im not saying i dont like the peaks and were lucky its on our doorstep) but its nice to have a new set of lanes that make you think whats the best way up/down.

On a seperate topic, ill have to make my own way up rather than convoy as we have to drop the cat in at the cattery on our way, ill go the route that paul has planned and we`ll hopfully catch up with you all on the way (we`ll probs only be around 40-50mins behind you)

well its just gone midnight tuesday evening and ive just come in from the garage.
Ive changed the rad, rear prop, changed the oil and filter, fitted a new terrafirma disk hand brake and striped the front suspension off in a bid to try to rectify the bugger leaning and wallowing about on the road.
Got 2 sets of springs to play arround with and have provisionally ordered a pair of font + 2 for the front and a pair of standard front for the rear, all HD.
Got a new set of terrafirma + 5 shocks to fit, new front prop to fit, adjust the panard rod and refit the front wheel arch, so all being well sould be good to go on friday morning. Wont be able to set off until after 8:45 until the bin lids have gone to school, ill find you all somewhere though

Weather forecast don't look to be honest, been watching it hoping it will change, I'll be up there Thursday and do a reccy friday morning of the first lane, I'm off work now till next Friday :) a couple of small jobs on the landy and I'll be ready.
Looking forward to this and sure it will be an epic adventure :)

Update weather not too bad just the saturday afternoon and into Sunday early hours for rain, that's so far but still time to change again yet lol

It's changed again! I can confirm we are going to have weather :D
