South Wales Scrap Yards?

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any traditional style scrap yards which actually let you in to pull bits yourself and look around, which is located in the South Wales sort of area?
I have been looking online but come to apsolutely no conclusions.

^^^^Think you'll find that's the problem.
I spent many happy hours collecting bits for our various cars in the big Leicester scrapyards years ago but they've all gone & it's now the site of the Leicester space centre.
One left & you tell them the part you want & they'll fetch it for you.
The Wigston one (Wigston car breakers) is much the same.
Nothing like being inside the top car of a pile of 4 & feeling the whole lot gently swaying as you move around

Oh ok I thought that but thought it may be worth a try to see if one had possibly slipped through. That’s disappointing

I used to go to Colin Whites (CWS4x4) in Glastonbury and they’d let me remove my own parts. I don’t know if they’d still allow it as it’s been some years since I’ve done so (the effects of having children!) but it’s worth a call if you don’t mind the drive to Somerset

In Newport they generally pull any bits they need off the cars parked at the side of the road. Was loads of car places down the docks is pretty rough down there though but I’ve not been for some time.
