Sounds nice but it must be terrifying to drive

Question for one of merkin cousins. If you jump through all the right hoops and get a landy imported, can you then stick a big cummins or v8 in it?

It's import that are stopping all the non originals going over I believe.
Once it's over their I guess you can do what you want, unless they're kept track of, although can't see it myself.
Plenty of Cummins lumps over their too :D

Yanks don't do diesel

I was last there in 2010 , you couldn't buy diesel on the forecourt, had to go round the back where the trucks were.

Might be different now they do 300bhp+ V8 diesels

Perhaps it was because I wasn't looking for it then, seemed to be a lot of grades of petrol but in the UK every pump has petrol and diesel.

I had a Lincoln towncar , at one point I lifted the bonnet to see if it was just a badge on the wing but no, it did have a V8 in it but nothing like the one in the XK8 I had at the time.

Put my foot down, it made more noise but not much else
