Hi all!
We're on the isle of mull at the mo in the 110 - after using the low diff to get up a steep bank the transfer box is now not selecting at all and we can't use any gears! after an embarrassing tow home I could use any advice on where to start what may be the prob etc! ...needless to say ..we're a tad remote here so it'd really get me out of a fix if anyone can give me some clues!!! thanks!!! ...why didn't we go to clacton like I wanted to eh? :)

Ok thanks very much!!- as you can guessed I'm a newbie! - could you advise best way in a remedy? ..still..if you have to be stuck somewhere..its very pretty here! :-D

Get underneath and check that linkage! I had the same a few months back. I could enable and disable difflock but couldn't get back to high after using low. Just turned out to be a nut worked its way off. 10 mins on my back and it was fixed. Lets hope your problem is as simple. Good luck!

thanks for the replies - will be under it tomorrow ..had enough for today tbh ..only an emergency because 'home' for this week is a cottage on the isle of mull ...literally in the middle of nowhere..ferry ride for petrol let alone parts!:D

hope not - the gearstick seems 'loose' and unconnected as described above ..doesnt move in diff lock as can't select diff lock!

morning all! further to yesterdays shenanigans - I took the inspection cover off and yes - seems the nut had worked its way loose off the linkage - had to re-attach with the top lock nut and get back in gear which will get us about & home for now! ..thanks very much for the help! really appreciated!! have a great day all :-D
