Hi everyone

Just a quick hi and introduce myself. Just bought a Discovery 2 V8 on LPG and am new to Landyzone. Not new to Land Rovers as have previously owned a S3 petrol swb canvas tilt (I refuse to call it soft top or convertible as it is some poles and a canvas Tarpaulin). Then a few years off and a Freelander (w reg) 2.0 td. Then a few more years off but tonnes of patching up scrap ones at my gliding club (did at least 3 drive shafts on one vehicle and helped fit a new half rear chassis on another). Next came a lovely old 109 safari petrol with overdrive which was the best and the worst. The best because it was huge and bullet proof and went through snow, mud and along the ridgeway when I lived on a farm. The worst because the brakes wouldn't bleed, the heater was not a heater but an electric device for poking an asthmatic hamster and making him huff on the windscreen and, finally, 12 to the gallon and a top speed of 60 (if you are happy to lose all you fillings, freeze and go deaf, otherwise 55) was just too too much to bear. That one was bought by a trader and exported to Canada for a full refurb for a customer. Now comes the Discovery 2 V8. Modern, warm, comfy but a still a landy. LPG makes it easier to afford and looking forward to owning it. First job chassis paint. Any tips? :crazy_driver:
