sorry i promise i have done a search for this, so i hope you can help me out :)

just converted the coil spring convertion kit that a previous owner had done, back to air springs..
switch the suspention back on with my Hawkeye, but couldn't get the compressor to run (but idiot me didn't shut the drivers door), so cheated by using the hawkeye test menu to pump up the bags, but seemed to pump up both sides together and not just one??

so the problem, hawkeye came up with the ride height sensor wire broken
and fauly code 4067 current high/low..
can't see any damage to the wires, but the plug outer housing is buggered and held on this a cable tie..
i'm getting a new sensor tomorrow and i'm going to clean up the plug and make it water tight,
so would you think that this would get the system working as it should?
or would i need to do anything else to the system?

U'll see after u replace the sensor...if no joy we'll speak again. Disconnect battery neg. lead before u unplug the sensor

errrrr to late disconnected sensor to look at plug condition,
suppose i've buggered up the calibration?? that was the old sensor. new one being fitted tomorrow.

As long as when u disconnected the sensor nothing happened u might be lucky..... disconnect it before u put the new one. When u made the circuit test with hawkeye, did u activate just one side and both raised(cos that's not good) or u was on compressor test? ... anyway, it seems u can at least pump up the bags through hawkeye which means the circuit and the compressor are good and for other management missbehaviour we'll speak again if necessary.

yes only raised one side and they both seemed to come up,
but saying that when i raised the other side it came up alone.
i might have not seen what is was doing properly???

ok update.
new sensor fitted (battery disconnected first :D) and plug repaired.
switched on the SLS via Hawkeye, now SLS warning light comes on with ign goes out and comes back on with the off road W/L.
no faults show on hawkeye ???

so using Hawkeye i lowered the back down to the bump stops.
disconnected hawkeye and started the engine. the suspention pumped it's self up to ride height and stopped. so looks like it working ok.
pressed the dash switch and nothiong happened, tried the remote and nothing happened.

any idea's? PLEASE!!

when u say u pressed the switch and nothing happened...do you mean not even a chime? ... were all the doors/taildor closed at the moment?

then check the ORM switch, maybe it's unplugged or something

right checked switch all ok used Hawkeye live data and it shows the switch working off press on.

the ride hight might be the issue.
LR 137 counts
RR 153 Counts (this being the new one)

i am presuming that these numbers relate to the sensor height?

ps when you switch off the engine ign, the compressor runs in bursts, about 5>6 of about a second each burst..

The strange thing is that it doesnt at least chime when u push the switch. That uneven height is also not good...i think u need calibration with a capable tool(cos unfortunately hawkeye is unable to do that)

yep that's what i was thinking, would it be dealer only or could a landrover specialist do the job?

i'll ring Landranger Deeside tomorrow, Disco's going in there next week for new exhaust manifold with studs, and waxoyling done. just hope they can do it.
many thanks sierrafrey very helpful owe you a pint :D

nanocom is able to calibrate but u need those calibration blocks...though if u knew theyrs dimensions u could improvise them out of wood or something....or make measurements at front and rear and use axle stands to keep the body at even level while u store that height in ecu's memory with nanocom....cos that's the ideea of calibration ... the sensors inputs at normal and even height must be stored in ECU... check the nanocom locator maybe u escape cheaper than at the dealer

thanks again
err where would find the nanocom locator??

also just had a thought, when i fitted the new right hand sensor the bottom piviot was seized solid, now free and greased of course,
just checked the left hand one and that to was seized, i've freed it off and greased it. but do you think i should replace the left hand one so both sides have new sensors?

and if you ever need anything doing like repairs or anything my mates a techy at james edwards chester and all he does in is spare time is repair landrovers jason his name is.. lives by the morrisons

Final update....

all systems working perfectly..:D

SLS W/lights on due to the need to calibrate the SLS...

can i thank sierrafry and ultra150 for there assistance :clap2:
