I've had a good weekend in the world of Land Rover...
First off and I'm sure I'm in for a bit of stick here but I'll give it a go...
I had a go in the new Evoque on Saturday, Wasn't sure what to expect so went with an open mind.

First impression was that it looked big in the showroom even in the company of grown up 4x4, once we'd dealt with the paperwork we went out to have a test drive. I thought it felt solid and for want of a better word chunky! It had all the knobs and bell you'd get in it's bigger siblings, as for the engine it was the 190 bhp diesel with a manual box. It went well in fact if timed right it went like stink!

The biggest down side was that it was a three door and getting in the back (being 6' 4") was a bit of an event..... Once in it was a bit claustrophobic, when you look at it from the outside the windows taper away from front to back which may look nice but it gives the car a very high waist line and gives a limited view from the back seat.

I'd like to hear if anyone else has had a go and what they thought of it.

That was the new, the old was my old P38, I've just got a new mobile (I'd been putting it off as once I find something that works well and I know how to use it I'll stick with it until it goes bang....
I've been thinking about some sort of upgrade in the hifi department but didn't want take out the old system.
My new phone is a Nokia N8 and after having a good long play I found a button called "Play via radio" which means I now I have all my music on tap via my new phone (which is nice)

Sorry to go on but I haven't posted for a while and got a bit carried away.....

I saw one of those new evoque go by at the weekend and from the front it looked quite nice but the back looks terrible! Like someone sat on it!

How did you find the rear view visability? it looked smaller then a pill box window!
