Somerset taunton Eas relay problems

Can anyone please help me I have a p38 diesel the eas pump didn't work so I tested the eas relay by jumperwiring it on the relay board the pump came on went out bought an eas relay and the pump wont work unless you jumper wire it what is going on please plus the pump still runs with the key out of the car if I jumper it is it major thanks for everyones help so far at least I've got a pump that works but not with a relay in it also does anyone have the kit to reset the eas hard fault or know where I can buy it I've heard eBay but does it do the job thanks I live in somerset

The compressor will not run if you have an EAS hard fault. You can download the free EAS software from www.rswsolutions.com where you will also find a lot of info about fault code interpretation. You will also have to download Net framework 2 or above free from Microsoft.
