dunno but theres one on ebay for around the 13k mark - i would personally far rather have a camel 110 - im turning mine into a fake :O

at some point i would love to own a genuine one though

What is the price of scrap like at the moment?

i agree with all freelanders but the camel ones. at least they tried! heck if i were given a camel freelander i would love it to bits (and then sell it for a camel 110:D)

there is a camel disco on as well at the moment for 5k if i remember rightly which is also a snip

I personally don't get the deal with Camels.

You are knowingly buy a very expensive Landy that has been well and truely ragged to ****.

Yeah, fair enough they are rare and done an amazing things (I will not included the later ones in that because, compared to the early ones they are nothing... A bit like the G4) but as a Landy to use? I would not buy one, Maybe to go to shows and that in but not alot else.

actually they have been pretty well looked after and are often very low mileage. with them you get the immense history of the vehicle, which is a huge part of land rover history, an awesome looking truck with tonnes of character, lots of kit and bombproof depreciation. the only way the prices will go with these are up. and lets face it they look the dogs bollocks

Hmmm... Yeah right... I will take your word for it! ;) Having washed quite a few Camel Trophy DVD's, i don't have a clue how you can say they were not ragged to within half a inch of there lifes!

ha i ent debating they werent ragged to death - im saying they are pretty well looked after.

were / are - differant tense! we all know the only things that matter in landys are chassis, engine, and bulkhead.

that on top of the fact they are all low mileage, and almost all went into enthusiasts hands means they are pretty damn decent motors these days imo¬!

The only series worth any real money are in mint condition or are the ones old enough to be tax exempt, the rest are rolling scrap.

id rather make me own just not in a gash colour and with cigerette logos all over it.Nasty ciggies at that.
