Thats why i asked that load of questions earlier. To be honest i was kind of hoping Thor would answer.

I thought it was 25 years of age to import in to the US. yours is what? 27? You would have to check if there is any other conditions.

They would love it! And would pay but the states are a funny bunch they want it built done sorted. If you re chassis and make a good interior job for it would be worth $30k plus

Could you chop it about and make it a 4x4 play vehicle and pull it to events on a trailer behind you current land rover?

Hey guys, I'm new here. The main reason for me posting here rather than the new people forum is because this Land Rover has fallen into my possession. This will be the first vehicle I have ever worked on. That being said my current plans are to slowly restore it and see where I go from there.

I told him the first thing to do is soak everything down with WD40 and start stripping.
Bulkhead is gone.
Need to find a good used one.

Where is the best place to look?

Could you find another wrecked vehicle for parts?

So if you had a very good genuine V8 county how would you go about flogging it to the Merkins and what's would it be worth

No chance of a wreck in The Bahamas.

I need to find one in the UK and ship it in.

You could ship in anything, a complete v8 vehicle would be best I guess.

Could you not just get a bulkhead shipped over on its own?

Thats what I meant, I need to find a used bulkhead.
