Thats where the plate fastened to it and the chassis comes in, wasn't going to make it very thick to save weight, and it wouldn't matter if it got bent as it would be easy and cheap enough to replace.

I'm sure someone said seats in a particular model of Nissan had removeable bases but can't remember which model.
That were me Nissan Micra seat bases lift out 1996 circa that model shape You do have to give them a bit of titty vation though i.e. cut some bits off and weld some tabs on leave the plastic trim on the base of the seats as it keeps it nice and tidy

Been looking at the landys dash and trim and I think there is alot of parts I can easily overlay in carbon fiber. Would anyone laugh at me if I did that? Obviously I will be doing the rest of the car up.

Also, if I get a 90 with 7 seats, I may take the front mid seat out, and replace it with a more conventional cubby box, I saw a link to them somewhere, but has anyone got a link just in case I lose mine? Thanks,

Ben

Yis. On a Tracter it's worser than chequerplate.

Heidi FFS you can't move on t'internet for cubby boxes every and their dog sells em.

hehe thanks mate. Well, I dont like checker plate too much, so its brushed aluminium and carbon fiber now.

Laugh yourselves silly, I like carbon fiber :D

might be a merkin in disguise....an illegal import

ooook, I dont get this, I am from Bradford, West Yorkshire lol born and bred.

I wont merk up my landy, just enhance it. What is a merkin lol? I say that merked when it looks nasty.

Meh, carbon fiber will be slapped on anyway lol. The funny thing is, it will be layed over the top of the older parts, so they will weigh EVEN more :D;)
