Looking for some updated advice on seats (seen a few post on here about them but mainly from a while back).

I’m looking to replace my current seats (exmoor trim half/half heated) with some reclining bucket/ sports seat and not break the bank in the process. Also would like to avoid having to do any fabrication to make them fit! Any advice/ suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance

If we ask @blue beasty nicely he will move it to the right section please, cake involved:)

I have heard guys fit Mazda rx8 seats don’t know details, except watch out for the air bags in them:eek:
In the older defenders not sure about the newer ones.

Thanks Marjon... looked at the Rx8 seats but read somewhere they don’t align directly behind the steering wheel, which kind of made me think more about aftermarket ones without the exmoor price tag!!

@blue beasty... pretty pretty please... what sort cake do you like?

I like cake. Asking what sort implies there's cake that I don't like

I'll assume this is a thoughtless mistake and not a deliberate attempt to be deeply offensive....this once.

See look at that “it’s magic”:)

Thing is as I said don’t know what’s involved and do the seats sit straight in front of steering wheel anyway?
Can’t say I have really noticed just get in it and get on with it.
The thing is you won’t get much recline out of any seat if you still have the bulkhead behind.
