Been having some issues with the 90 running smoothly. Discovered that one of the two wires that runs to the rear of the injector pump was loose and the connector was full of muck. After removing connector and wipping off the contacts then reconnecting she ran so much better.

The thing with two wires at the back of the injector pump - thats the solenoid?

If yes....what does it do?

cool - what does a stop solenoid do? I assume it stops the engine? (Did google it but hat did not help!) I guess that would explain why the engine was running so rough.....kept switching itself off!

only has one wire ,the other may go to oil pressure switch, unless someones fitted a bypass wire for solenoid ,.it cuts fuel on/off for pump
