Soft top

I want to take the roof off my 90 van, the problem is where do the seatbelts connect to when the roof is off?
I was looking at the safety devices soft top roll bar with the seatbelt mounts, but I have been told that they have gone under.
would like a roll bar that fits under the roof with seat belt mounts that will at a later date be able to be used with a canvas top.
Any info would be greatly received.

Is your rollbar under a hard top or a canvas?

In my soft top 90 the inertia reels fitted on the rear bulkhead, ie behind the seats. The inertia reels were there and then they fed up to a bracket drilled into the roll bar. You can put the bracket anywhere you see fit, so long as it's sturdy. Alternatively just roll them directly over your shoulder from the bulkhead!
