I have three Halfords Pro sets, 2no large/200 piece for heavy duty work, 1no small that I keep in the utility room for indoor work. The first large set I bought in their first sale of Pro sets approx' 20 years ago [!] Have only ever had one tool failure, a ratchet which lost its grub screw...took into local Halfords one Sunday morning and asked for a new grub screw...the assistant confirmed they had no grub screws but would gladly exchange the complete ratchet with a brand new one; this was after 12 years of hard use. I walked out of the shop a very happy chap

Yes seen them, the 200 piece limited editions are out of stock now in the store so I think these new big sets for 325 should be reduced even further shortly. hopefully down to half price

Whats with all these ''limited edition'' sets in Black? Your gonna lose that shit in an engine bay, Ive lost loads of chrome tools in engine bays, never gonna see a Black 10mm socket down on an undertray somewhere.

Think they have stopped the limited ones , might be a few left on ebay, but you are right about the black ones, I'm always dropping bits down there some never to be seen again.
Still waiting on another price drop before I decide.
