picked up a set of 37 x 12.50 tyres for it. Well 3.... I will have to get another pair to complete the set. But as I won them for 99p on eBay I really can't complain!

I gave the guy a tenner as i really couldn't just give him a quid!

Now i need a set of 17" rims to suit them.... any thoughts? I have seen modulars but i don't really fancy them.

We took a jaunt up to Aberdeen and picked up a trackman top for the 130 for £31! Bargain :)

Had a joyful event of the alternator belt snapping in Aberdeen late at night and since we were booked into a hotel in Glasgow, we had to drive the whole way with no charging of the battery and no water pump! It made it though! Thank god for convection.

The following day was full of arguments over the phone trying to source a replacement belt. Several "specialist defender" garages there were completely useless and didn't know their arse from their elbows.

Monachs managed to sort us out with a replacement belt. Many thanks to them!

Well the 130 is pretty quick for an old gal, itll do 93 mph on the flat. (ps I'm not condoning speeding, but we all do it)

Shame the bonnet doesn't.....

Decided it couldn't hold on any more and well, a little tiny bit of poo might have come out. Luckily the roof rack prevented the screen from being smashed but *$£* me.... scary

Cos it's a Land Rover? Same happened to me with a newish (at the time) Disco II. Terrifying.

Bloody hell, don't fancy that much. [goes out to check the bonnet catches]

Well as if the 130 isnt too big enough to park in the office car park, burn enough fuel, and generally not the ideal commuter......

ive gone and purchased a demountable camper for the back of the thing. Pick it up on friday.

It makes it about 20" longer and 35" taller... should handle like a dream too

picking it up on monday now mate, saves me a 300 mile journey as its only down the road from my work.

Need to fix the transfer box leak beforehand as its howling - i suspect the input gear splines are about to pop - but at least getting some oil in the thing will help increase its life.

need to whip the truckman off, the roof rack, see if the snorkel top is lower than the roof line - if not replace it with a wolf air intake, Got a new 400w led lightbar to go on the front, 75w led headlights, led rear indicators, replace the 2nd row doors (they are completely rotten) , fit tdci high back seats to replace the cloth smart car ones, fit a new centre seat and seatbelts so my wee girl can sit in the front with me :)

Then i have purchased some Gore bonnet hinges to stop theiving gits having my puma bonnet, i wasnt worried about security when im at home in the land of the free (ish) but now im working in warrington with it... eerrmmm yeah

Also to go on this weekend, finally fit the other front terrafirma big bore damper and light load front springs, 2" spacer blocks, adjustable panhard rod and front grill.

Phew!

Going to be a busy weekend.

Looks like you need a bigger parking bay  and that you've reversed into someone's caravan ;)
Are you having it on permanently or taking it off from time to time?
Are you leaving it white?
