Adrian Flux

My landy YNR941T is insured with you, how do I get a guaranteed valuation, as I have spent half of the Nation debt on the restoration, I have also had it respray green instead of blue, is there a charge to have this changed on my insurance.

I also need a quote for my MGB GT, also details the same (2000 miles)

I think a lot depends on the underwriters. I'm with Lancaster (well Alianz via them) and with all my mods declared they were happy, but there was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing before a quote was forthcoming.

To be fair, Adrian Flux were probably more savvy about common mods so I didn't have to explain every last bit of underbody protection to them, whereas the staff at Lancaster were obviously less familar.

It certainly does. You'll find some underwriters will be unable to insure vehicles that have any modifications, some will have the ability to cover minor modifications. Others will cover all mods!

As a modification specialist, we love modified vehicles and can insure (within reason) anything with wheels on our schemes!

With regards to the staff knowing about modifications etc, most of us do have a keen interest in cars anyway so it certainly helps, the staff car park some days does look interesting to say the least!

Cheers

I got a quote from Flux a couple of weeks ago and the guy was brilliant and very helpful. However I didn't buy that particular vehicle (imported and modified). Asked for a quote for the Range Rover and the guy I spoke to then wasn't quite so helpful and said oh yeah we'll do it for the same price! Well it's insured by another company now at half the flux quote. Just felt like was bring fobbed off and he couldn't be bothered looking into it.

It's an issue with tapatalk app, says something is out of date and needs updating from the forum and randomly either refuses to post or posts multiple times....
