Went to pick up the Series 2 from the MoT today (it went in for it on
4th July!). Bloke needed the V5 'cos it wasn't coming up on the
computer.
Turns out DVLA have deleted him from the database. All became clear
when I opened my documents folder to find the SORN declaration, signed
and dated, but sadly not exactly posted....
Anyway, the lift pump has started peeing fuel everywhere, so the MoT
wasn't actually forthcoming in any case. Part should arrive this
afternoon / tomorrow, and I'm back in a Land Rover!
In a nice touch of irony they've put those plastic covers over the
seats. I think they wanted to keep their overalls clean....
