If you could get a rangie v8 classic cheap enough and get the sills done by a trade mate for cash......could you flog on fleabay when it snows and make a profit??

don't see why you couldn't make a few quid on it, I'm selling my rrc after xmas once everyone is back to normal, hopefully get a good price for it.

Definitely, but the idea is to get it before it snows, do the work in relative warmth, sort out all the niggles etc then sell it at the start of the poor weather, not mid way through. Otherwise you're "chasing your tail" and as the winter goes on, people who originally wanted one either find ways to do without (being careful with their normal car, for example) or see that its worth lessens because there's less cold days left etc.
