Snorkel on a Holley 390 with edelbrooke???

Hi, anyone know how the fit a snorkel to a defender with a Holley 390 cfm carb?

Also, it's a 3.9 v8. Do I need to do any wether proofing under the bonnet if I decide to drive through a river.

Can't help with the Snorkel but don't worry about the waterproofing V8's love water.

the thing to watch for,as you hit the water,is for the engine overheating, 'cos you've got no air flow through the rad.

Stupid question but, doesn't the water your driving through cool the rad?

Also, while I'm talking to you what mpg do u get out of your efi? I've got a 3.9 on carbs and I'm getting about 16-17 mpg and I'm thinking of switching to efi if it does improve after I give it a tune

it was tongue in cheek. as for fuel consumption,not sure,haven't got speedo cable for auto box yet. do about 7 mile round trip to work 5-6 days and £20 re-fills it.does a lot better on a run out. not the best i know but tend to be a bit greedy with the extra grunt. loads to do still but gets me to work everyday.
