Hi!
I want to add a snorkel (raised air intake) for my 2.5 NA, saw the correct one on rebel 4x4, but I prefer the Safari Snorkels (the shape). Was wondering if I can put a 200TDI Safari Snorkel for my 2.5 N/A ?

Yes I've got a safari one on my TD. If you haven't got the vent in the wing you'll either need to get another wing or find someone who has and measure the hole and cut your wing to suit..

erm,

only problem with that is the airbox will still not be connected to the wing. so you will need to source the pipework from the wing to the airbox. You may even need to fabricate a 200tdi airbox/filter into the N/A system.

Thanks a ton guys for all the help. But I noticed that the 200TDi and 300Tdi have their snorkels on the RHS, whereas for the 2.5 NA it has to be on the LHS.

my N/A had a 200tdi safari snorkel on it.

Hi! Would appreciate it if you can post a few pictures of your snorkel on the outside as well as they way its connected to the air intake on the inside in the engine bay. Getting the wing fabricated is not a problem at all. It can be done here in India.

200Tdi is on the lefthand side. I think Mantec do a snorkel for the NA.

This is the wing vent and inlet pipe for a 2.5TD

THanks for the pics redhand, am actually looking at not fixing the NA Snorkel from Rebel 4x4 or Mantec. I am looking at pictures that have a 200TDI Safari Snorkel fitted to a 2.5 NA.
