Snatch Landrover

Hi I`ve bought a Snatch of Ebay and at some stage I will need to get it registered .What does this process involve, is it complicated because it is ex military

You need the 'disposal of a cast vehicle' form from the mod (think its form 654, will check mine later) this allows you to register it and apply for a log book with the DVLA, I can't remember the DVLA form though. The DVLA then can issue you an appropriate age related number plate form so you can get plates made then you can mot it and insure and tax it.

Whilst mine was being registered I insured it off the chassis number, I also MOT'd it off the chassis number (well I say I but really I mean withams)

Ask on the ex-military land rover association (emlra) for guidance

When it comes to refurbing it, Bob Morrison has done some good articles with pics that should help. When I bought my Lightweight, the dealer did all that crap for me. Have fun and good luck.
