It’s aL322 and the smoke is coming from the centre under the rear tootwell .it could be the the diesel fuel burning preheater and what model do you have as vogue is just a trim level is it it am l322 or l320
Also what is the purpose of the heater please! It’s aL322 and the smoke is coming from the centre under the rear tootwell .
Warms the car up before you get in on cold mornings ,like a HGV's night heater. Have you got a transmission oil leak being thrown on to the exhaust? Also what is the purpose of the heater please!
Think you can discount the heater as its exhaust exits under one of the front wheel arches. Will check out all thanks all regards turbo
I'm sure there is, do you have an extra remote without a key blade? If not you probably don't have one. Do a search I'm sure there are photos /diagrams .Is there a page fbh for dummies.
You can tell I haven't got one. doesn't it fire up if on the timer with the remote a demand override? Anyway its exhaust is nowhere near the middle of the car.The fbh fires up any way to help warm up, the remote side of it is an option.
Dont know about later models but on my 2004 I had to have park heating as its called enabled for the timer to appear on the screen then I used a Vellman wireless remote kit for for remote switch on, the fbh exhaust is kind of in line with passenger door hinge so still could be fbh.You can tell I haven't got one. doesn't it fire up if on the timer with the remote a demand override? Anyway its exhaust is nowhere near the middle of the car.
Just to add fuel to the fire here so to speak, the O.P posted over on rangerover.net couple of days ago about smelly diesel fumes under car on switch off. Any help do we think ?
I have found the exhaust pipe for the fbh,Is there any particular colour or smell to the smoke/area?
Check the glow plug for starters.I have found the exhaust pipe for the fbh,
Started fbh with remote fans start slight smell of fumes then nothing, fans still going but nothing out of pipe no hot air pipe cold.
It appears it starts then stops just cold air comes out,no heat in saloon.
