Hi, just wondering , I have just purchased a 66 plate sport and as it may have been in showroom a while I was wondering if I was to connect my c tech charger to the jump start posts under the bonnet as it has the two batteries fitted , stop start plus main battery I would in effect be charging both batteries. It has original batteries fitted so I am guessing both AGM until I check fully. Any one had any experience of doing that way or should I go individually , although I dont see the charging system differing between the two batteries. Thanks for any replies.

I do not know the car but I can tell you that one way or another the charge from the alternator will be split quite likely with separate control if the batteries have different capacities. Connecting to the jump start posts is likely to only charge the starting battery.
The owners hand book should tell you about the possibilities and risks of connecting a charger.

Right, thank you that makes sense, I was just checking because hand book states to charge the aux it must be removed from vehicle, which just is not going to happen . I dont do major mileage and just noticed side steps playing up now and again which I am putting down to battery because fine after a good run
