This topic may have been done to death given some of the comments about freelander engines but can anyone help with the following.
I've just bought a 54 plate petrol freelander 1.8 xei and i'm having some problems - mainly when it's on any sort of incline (no matter how slight) at higher speeds (60-70mph). That said i'm also experiencing some problems during normal driving where it feels like it could stall at any moment and jerks a bit. Also a warning light looking like an engine is on constantly - the handbook says it'sa posssible emissions problem?
Is this a common fault? Is it just me not used to driving one? I did purchase a warranty when I boughtit so i'm happy to take it in to be checked - anyone recommend a place in North Manchester?
