Disco 2 SLS

Morning all, my air suspension has been replaced with coil springs but every now and then the SLS light comes on. I'm pretty sure this needs turning off in the ECU, but could I just remove relay 5 instead?

You can remove relay but it won't help cos the warning must be disabled with tester

Is the light just a warning then? I thought it meant the pump was actually trying to raise the suspension !

The pump would actually run if it was trying to raise it, If you dont have an audible warning too it's possible that the system is set to coils already and as you say you get the warning light just now and then it means that only the light is not disabled in BCU settings and there's some wiring issue which activates it on the earth path...either way the best is to plug in a tester and disable the SLS completely, if it's already set to coils in SLABS the warning must be disabled in BCU intrument settings

passenger seat back and forward can work the wire underneath to put the SLS light on!
