Evening,

My N/A sometimes feels like it can go a bit quicker, but the accelerator just doesn't do anything to give it more power. If I'm heading up a slight slope in 5th gear for example and I press down on the accelerator, it'll press further but not have any effect on the engine, not even an audiable clatter as if it's feeding it more fuel. I noticed last week whilst climbing up a slight incline on a good mile long stretch of road that it pulled in 5th at 50mph with the power to go faster. Just earlier however, it only reached 45 up that same stretch and wouldn't go any faster what so ever (that's with a good run at the hill too). What the hell's going on!? I have also noticed that the accelerators effectiveness seems to vary on the flat. It will sometimes charge in 3rd gear, sometimes it just has no effect, and will take a good while to get up to speed where in some cases it will get there much quicker.

Now here's the catch. I really don't know whether or not it is just my imagination, but it definitely feels to vary to me. Is there anything that I can do to try and combat this issue? Could I have a dogey throttle link for example, or is there anything else that I can do?

Thanks in advance for any help!

May be a bit obvious but it sound like a fuel or air blockage, especially as it’s varies, I take it you have looked at all the filters and pumps? If you are not getting a load of smoke I’d right off a cylinder problem.
