Slightly OT - Tom Tom GO 300 Power up sequence

Slightly OT but just put my Go 300 in my Disco 3 and I am sure that
previously when I keyed the ignition on and power went to the Go via the 12v
lead it used to automatically power up and then off when the ignition was
off etc. Doesn't do it now, have to do manually. Only thing different is
that I am not using the cradle supplied to mount it anymore (as it fit's
perfectly into the dash top pocket on the new motor), so the 12v lead is
plugged in directly.

Any ideas folks?

Mine does the power up down thingy, i'll try without cradle tomorrow.
