Disco 4 (LR4) Slight issues

Something’s happened to it as any fault or deactivation should light the dash warning. Has he been into the warning messages in the menu on the dash?
totally agree, seems weird there’s no warning on the instrument panel
I’m wondering if fuses have been removed to hide an error with in the handbrake system , only reason I think that as the carsoft code reader didn’t pick the fault up so that’s why I only thought about the fuses
alas don’t know if the OP has gone through the menu
funny enough just looked on a D3 wiring diagram , just looking for a D4 one

Plse check fuse 9 in ur passenger side glove box

I’m ok on the D3 , but the D4 is a whole new level of witch craft , snigger
didn’t realise at first the wiring diagrams show the connector number, along with distance of that connector including what connector PIN number, cable diameter
I haven’t been through the menus totally I only just bought the car lol
But I like everything to be working if you see what o mean ?
its a 2010 model and fuse 9 is fine

Ref ur fuse 9, what voltage have u got across it plse , at least then we can try and go through it to see if we can pin down why it’s not working , maybe a broken wire, bad connector
at least it will be a start to see what Vdc u have on that fuse 9
also don’t wish to sound like I’m nagging , plse don’t forget to remove the door panel for the rear passenger side door , just for the what IF , regarding the door lock
Meant to ask, is the diagnostics urs or did u borrow it plse, as live data will also be helpful, ref compressor pressure, motor temperature
Ref the parking brake live data , alas don’t know that reader but can find a manual if u can’t find one Or unfamiliar if what menu to go into

Which side passenger door panel ?
Update on epb disconnected the switch and it threw an epb fault on the dash plugged it back in and it went. Switch issue? My diagnostic
apologies , don’t know why I thought passenger door, as ur issue is the drivers door

1) in the live data , show the psi pressure , motor temperature of ur air compressor
2) test with a multimeter to see what volts u have on fuse 9
ref the switch , by disconnecting it , the system just sensed there was a break in the system, it may or not may be faulty , but just wish to ensure first what voltage there is on both sides of fuse 9
just so we can take each fault step by step , otherwise we will be all over the place and at the end of the day would hate for u to buy parts unnecessarily

Switch isnt uncommon, not dear, buy and try.
It should do a self diagnostic on start up, If no problems the lights go out. There is an amber and a red warning lamp next to each other relating to the brake system

that’s where I saw the passenger side lock, but OP mentions drivers side ??
