Can someone with a classic please do me a favour a measure how much boot space there is with the rear seats up! . Say for example a rectange box whats the biggest size i could get L,W,H? Also i believe the spare wheel is under the boot? Does that mean if you lift up the carpet youll get to it or is it under the vehicle? If its just under the carpet what size is that once again?

Thanks for any info given, really appreciate it :)

The spare is stored upright on the nearside & even with the standard 205 tyre takes up a fair amount of room. With the rear seats in the upright position the floor measures 38 inches from the tailgate to the base of the seats but this measurement decreases up to the headrests, due to the rake of the seats & increases to 55 inches with the rear seats 'tumbled' forward (they do not fold flat). The width, between the wheel boxes, is 41 inches & the loading height, under the open tailgate, is just over 32 inches. These figures relate to the four-door models, I believe the two-door's are slightly different. Hope this info is of help.
