Simple tool to fill diff with oil

Thought I'll share this for everyone looking to do diff oil change for FL1. Did it once again for mine this morning. If you have done it already, you know that it's a bit tight place to get there because of the subframe and muffler.

I'm using a vacuum pump to suck the old oil out through the filler plug hole. To fill the diff the Castrol Transmax bottle can be modified. I cut the long nose off the bottle and slide a plastic tube into it until it touches the bottom of the bottle. Then just squeeze the new oil in. Takes like 4-5 squeezes to fill the diff.

Some of us remember the old gear oil bottles that used to come with 2 plastic tubes, 1 for the top of the lid and 1 to go on the bottom and in the bottle.

Perhaps showing my age.

But yes simple idea and always worked then so why not now.
