Simple roll bar ideas for defender 90 soft top

I recently bought a 1993 200tdi defender 90 soft top and would like to know if most soft top owners fit a roll bar, and if so some tips / pics / ideas

I have an ex-army roll bar on my 90, It bolts to the cappings and has brackets inside the rear tub also. It is designed to act as a hoodstick/seatbelt mount primarily and although it may offer some protection with a low speed roll over, it is by no means a proper roll bar. Are you after something like mine or a proper chassis mounted hoop?
