Hi, we have recently bought a Range Rover L320 2007. But unfortunately the sills are like Swiss cheese at the rear and we are needing to repair them. I can’t seem to find any sills online. I’m not sure if I have missed something. Any ideas where we can source some new sills to weld in. Many thanks. We are based in The highlands of Scotland

Did you know about the sills when you bought it fella?
Unfortunately it was bought as a pvt sale. When we bought it, it had a issue with air compressor in suspension, which I have sorted. So I couldn’t get a proper look underneath. I suspected that there would be rust but not this bad. But hopefully I can source some sills or something to repair it properly.

I had a mooch amd couldn't find a bloody thing.... Do you have any good body shops or car restoration shops nearby? I bet a car restoration shop can make them

plus I would be tempted to remove the rear plastic inner wheel arch liners to ensure the rust hasn’t gone there as well
Do u happen to have side steps fitted and would u mind taking some piccies plse , thks
there’s also the option of ringing round to some breakers as sometimes they will cut off the panels u need before crushing it

Thanks so much, this really helps. The vehicle isn’t here with me at the moment. I did remove wheel arch plastics and there is rust there, but not too bad and hopefully an easier fix. But I will send through pics. No side steps fitted, but thinking of fitting some when I get it all sorted.

Cheers thanks, I did call them. But they said to try principal dealer/main dealer, but couldn’t get through to the parts department . I will keep on trying tomorrow.
Ur so welcome , personally please be careful fitting side steps as they can become water traps
I’ve got a D3 and there very similar , on mine I fitted some rock sliders which which doesn’t allow water to get trapped
no probs and look forward to some pics when u get chance , plus plse let us know how u get on

plus as the D3 and the RRS are so similar plse don’t hesitate to shout if u get stuck on anything as there’s plenty of us to help
bought my D3 some 5 x years ago snd turned into a project Landy so indeed understand it can sometimes be like opening a can of worms, lol , is it just the sills that u need to contend with plse
oh and almost forgot , really important things with these is ensuring the battery is in good condition , along with having ur own code reader as will save u a fortune , if not can certainly recommend a few to u , plus a multimeter and a half decent tool kit if u intend to do repairs urself
