Side Windows on a 90 . . removing

Hi all, just a quick question - I can see that there are a number of screws holding part of the trim in place, just partially hidden with the seals. Question is - how do you get past the seal to get to the screws?? the seals seem very stiff I have a feeling I know what the answer might be, but always best to check lol . .
