Does anyone have any tricks for a side window leak . What happening is water is running down the outside past the scraper/seal , inside the door and dripping out the bottom and soaking the floor . Ive wedged the window pushing against the door card forcing it outward onto the seal and that appears to be working . But i cant leave big lumps of tissue stuffed in , So new seal ? , window runners adjusting ,

Worth checking the door drain holes - there's at least 2 - one front and one rear and they do get blocked up ... they're supposed to drain to the outside of the door seals, so it may be them giving the problem ...

I will double check , But does the door not go over the floor , and the bottom door seal , seal against the body . So if the door holes are clear they would drain onto the floor ? . I hope im wrong and its an easy fix , ie clear holes .

The seals on my series are some sort of aluminium coated with furry stuff.
The aluminium does give a little over time as the channel is not quite as big as the slot it sits in. When I renewed them I sank the whole lot in black silicone so nothing can move. Water can still run down inside the door to however as it has the series three push up latch that I had to mask off so the silicone mastic didn’t block the hole. This drains to the outside through a couple of original drain holes.

As it should ...

No, the door does not go over the floor at that point. The seal should press against the inner sill and the drain holes are on the outside of the seal. The water should come out of the door, over the outside of the seal, down the side of the inner sill and drop to the road.

Your spot on , Yes the drains are on the outside of the seal . Stupid me ! , Anyhow I've drilled them to be certain they are clear , put rubber sealent between the gaps between the rivets holding the bottom seal on , So water has to go out the drains . I took the door card off to check properly and where the door lock push button is it was cracked so I've welded it up and now the pressure is pushing back on the glass again and so is the outer waist seal now touching the glass , Whereas before there was quite a gap on the outside . Let's hope that does it ? .
