my mate done mine removed ctr box and rear box..

then used existing bits of exhaust and a couple of other bends from landy breaker.
2nd hand d44 stainless exhaust finisher £12.exhaust bits £10
total £22..sounds a lot better aswell

sent a email asking price and no reply yet.
wanted to buy one off the shelf so if i fitted one and cut a hole in my side pannel i can get another to replace it if it rotted off or got broken and its easier to sell it on if i ever did if some one knows they can buy replacement from some where.

"off the shelf" side exits dont exist. there is no part number, RRP or anything else. Its a custom job best carried out by a custom exhaust place. The route can only take a few variations but the exit can be wherever you like.

im wanting a side exit zorst for my V8 not sure wether to but a zorst box on it or make it straight through. im going to have a bash at doing it my self sot sure how my weld will do though

just done my v8 ninety, bought bits from merlin motorsport about 130 quid complete with box, its 3" pipe work but 2 1/2" would have been easier cos of space, not heard it running yet

be cheaper to have 'longlife' make one.

correct but its even cheaper to make it yourself :D
i mad mine out of 50mm stainless pipe
2 90 degree angles
1 90 cut in half to make a 45
and and it looks three times better than the gwyn lewis :D
and cost me nothing :D

that certainly is cheaper. i got the impression he didn't fancy making one though. if you want to be really cheap go to qwikfit and have a rummage through their old exhausts. some are like new but have been dented or whatever and you can make whatever shape you like either by welding them or making joins. you got to be pretty cheap to do this though...cough...i did in the past when i was a student and couldn't afford a new exhaust. all £35 of it

so is there no silencers at all anymore?

does not sound like it.

I got shot of both mine and replaced with a straight through cherry bomb...

eventually got my DIY job done properly by Infinity Exhausts in Yate for £100ish.
