Freelander 2 (LR2) Sick Freelander any sugestions

A/ I have a 2008 Freelander, its coughing black smoke and missing under acceleration. seem fast at speed but struggling to get up there
I think that there may be a problem with the MAFS ( on idle if I unplug it there is no difference) surely something should change?
B/ when I tried to buy a MAFS on ebay it says part number 6C11-12B579-AA is not compatible with my car but item fitted to my car has these numbers anyone know if this is the right part number.
The car was running fine with that part number before the missing started.

Sounds like a boost leak or EGR valve fault. Have you run a diagnostic or looked at the engine's live data?

Check the intercooler hose pipes one maybe split ? if it is the EGR valve then it is going to be expensive.
