duece means 2, half means .5.......2.5 ton load capacity. top speed is 55 mph, but the SNDT tires walk all over at that speed. These are on the chop block... military is in the middle of a phase out and are selling them like its going out of style. Try this on for size.

Na... we just under-rate everything so we don't get in a bind. They underrate them because anything over 26,500 lbs you need a CDL to drive. These weigh so much that if the load cap was higher it would put them over that limit. These came out in 1943 and other than a diesel engine are pretty much the same as then. This is the truck that is bolted under all the DUWKs that we left you guys after D-Day. We left 200,000 of them.... any around anymore?
