shouldnt these be attached to something?

anyone got any idea what these wires should be connected to?? they are just left hanging in my engine bay?

I stumbled across mine the other day and wondered!! Another one off the list!!

chances are if you cannot see anything in the proximity that it could plug into, then its for an optional extra that your car is not fitted with. also, these days sometimes they have parts that are for specific markets (worldwide), so it may not be relevant to the UK market?
assuming everything is running ok?
if anyone has a photo of the same part on their engine bay, it may reassure you?

all my cars have various unused electrical connectors all over them.

They do nothing, they are fitted so people can ask questions about them on here and elsewhere. You will find lots of redundant (To your car) plugs all over the place. If everything works forget about them.

Plugs for optional stuff or different engine variants ...

Tie 'em back - can fill plug with silicon to keep water out or grease ...

Wammers will confirm which is best...

Just put in a plastic bag seal with a zip tie. Then zip tie them back out of the way.
