I have a 2006 Freelander Td4 commercial with 150,000 miles on the clock. It has started to idle roughly which I think is injectors.

Also when the car is warm it gets hard to change gears.

Vcu is perfect as is the body.

Im wondering should I be thinking about selling it on if it's going to start getting expensive to fix?

Nope ... mine's all hunky dory but thanks anyway :p

If you can trace where ya doors fell off you'll add to the scrap weight ... just a little tip :D

I took a floor mat out and put it on the roof to get at my pollen filter the other day. Forgot about it and drove off with it on the roof - fell off just in fornt of my kitchen windown so spotted it while making coffee next morning thank fook ! That count :D?

rough idling could be injectors and you could get them refurbished.

Have you already checked the fuel rail connector, as this has been known to cause poor idling on the td4.

if you do a search, there has been a few threads about it. You can either clean the connectors up, which usually works fine, or there is an upgraded section of wiring loom you can buy to do the job.

either way, better the devil you know ?
