I will be honest the 60reg punto Abarth We had from new ,the multi air packed in would not run HotI just wish Fiat would use a more beefy gearbox. I've got the daughter's 5 speed box to rebuild soon, as the clutch is getting decidedly soft where it's contaminated with oil. The wife's newly MOT'd 1.4 Sport has the 6 speed box, so isn't so prone to input shaft bearing failure.
So we traded it for the red one , on a don’t ask don’t tell Kind of deal
Two days later the sales person ran to say how lucky we had been as the old car had broken down
So the red one had the oil changed every 3000m and it never missed a beat Thankfully
We are lucky having never done more than 45,000 and or 4 years in one but I am seriously thinking of buy a 13/14 punto Abarth to keep as the freelander as been the Best Buy I have made in a long time And the 595/500 is long in the tooth now ?what ever comes next will I am sure cost a fortune
