Should I fit?

Hello all having recently acquired a 95 M reg
Defender 90 TDi 300 in very very clean condition
and had always thought when I got one I'd fit a
snorkle more for the aesthetics than function. So
bought a Safari one and was all set to fit it. Then
today whilst picking up my son from school a
random person came up to me asking about mine
and saying its nice to see an old clean one being
used. So now I'm thinking should I fit it as once the
wing is drilled that's it. Please help views for or against

Buy an old wing .. or new one ..

should bolt over air intake so no need to cut a hole

Having read the fitting guide it says I need to drill
three holes around the intake plus four on the
windscreen/door post for the upper support?
