Short term insurance policy

Hi, can anybody recommend an insurance company that does 2 weeks cover?

Bought a landy in the uk and i need just 2 weeks to cover me picking it up, visiting and driving home to denmark. Vehicle is taxed/tested..1975 series with a v8

Preferably with an online application, i have a uk address but trawling across the net has generally met with 'telephone us for a quote'...and thats a tad expensive..repeating the same details for 20 minutes each time..

Not sure about the legalities of this but just get a regular policy off the net and pay in installments, pay the first installment then cancel it when you get home before the next payment date. That's what all the pikeys used to do to get an insurance certificate in the days before ANPR.

all insurance companys have to give u 14 days to change ur mind by law. all u do is pay for the time on cover plus an admin fee (usually £25).
im sure u wont have a problem as long as its a one off and not happening regularly

I tried...3rd party only for 14 days was....erm £98..

However i got a quote from a classic vehicle insurance company...

1 years fully comp with limited mileage..£104...

Wonder which one i'll take.....

or part time motor traders as I have= zero ****ing about
