When I turn my lights on the wires to the reversing light switch smoke and the fuse blows, can anyone from memory tell me the wires that exit the chassis by the rear cross member are by colour? Defender 90 300tdi

Grey/ Purple to the stop light
White to the reversing light
Red/Black to the number plate light
Red/Yellow to the fog light
Red/Orange to the tail light

Maybe a red/light green and brown/light green for the wiper if you have one.

figured out the HRW but there is also a permanent live, interior light perhaps? plus a whole bundle of other wires that don't seem to liven up no matter what is switched
