Shock turrets question.

Evening all!!

Wondered if I could pick your brains.

I'm thinking about changing the shock turrets on my disco 2. I'm tempted by the plus 2 inch ones. And wondered what do you do about the rear suspension? I already have a 2 inch lift kit on it. But just fancy a little but more .

Hi, when you say you fancy a bit more, do you mean more lift?

You can get lift blocks that go under the springs to give it more lift, however you will need to do and spend a whole lot more. I believe +2 is the max on a disco 2 without having to change things such as radius arms, extending abs wires on the hubs, Watts linkage and probably lots more. Another option is a body lift.

All those turrets do is allow more shock travel. They dont provide lift.
