I intend on changing all 4 shox over Christmas since car seems to be not handling that well on out rubbish roads and the existing ones have done about 137K
Got the OEM ones from Island, but is there anything else anyone recommends I should get at same time?
Bushes? Will I shear a nut or a bolt or break a clip?

Yes your panhard bushes I doubt the shocks will Improve the handling much but panhard bushes did on mine. I fitted poly bushes yes yes I know but instant improvement in handling and body roll and no press required.

171695281237 it wasn't these one but it shows what and where they are you need to do front and rear

Make sure you fit the long ones on the front and the shorter ones on the rear.

Thank you folks
Never done panhard bushes before.
Is there on on back axle and one on front axle?
The polyurethane ones on Island seem to be only for the classic RR
If I get the genuine ones do I need a press to get them in and out?

IIRC the complete bush kit from Sh!tpart has them in. Ask @tomcat59alan as he has it. I decided I'd do them bit by bit using proper Land Rover rubber ones.

When you do the shocks compress them a few times before fitting.

I fitted terrafirma h/duty units. After I had a worn rear unit, stiffened the whole car on the road, even the previous owner thought it was an improvement over the oem shocks..your call!? But as previously suggested go through the whole front and rear axle fixations just rule out any hidden problems before jumping for the nearest thing. Not to say you are..a good crow bar and torch will find most culprits. ;-)

OEM shocks are fine and give the best ride, no need for anything heavy duty.
