About 6 months ago i rebuilt the rear suspension on my 200tdi with new springs and new terrafirma shock absorbers .Was all good.Recently it aint felt right and started banging over the larger holes (all on road stuff).I checked everything underneath all looked ok.I removed the shocks and have found that while one stays put in whatever state of compression you leave it the other starts to extend to its full travel.I assume one of them is faulty, the one that extends i think.
Am i right in thinking this
(By the way i put a cheap pair of Brit part shocks on and this has cured the banging not that the ride is that good compared to the terrafirmas )
