Do you have any idea at all about price? My French neighbour is extremely interested. I'll pm you his email adress. But his English is basic. I'm perfectly happy to be included in the pm convo to translate if necessary.

I’m going to post all the information I have gathered from reading Shippers posts here. I’m not sure what some abbreviations mean.

Acquired by Foley 4 by 4 in 1995 who stripped/galvanised chassis and converted to 12v
Acquired by Geoff Swain @4666km who exported to Algarve. He parked it up in 2002.
Acquired by Shippers/Rob in 2016 who spent €4-5k on restoration :- new parts including electronic distributor, alternator, water pump, rubber hoses, brakes, canopy…etc

Has CoC from Land Rover , Portugal ??
Has/had Certificado de Aprovacao ??

Vehicle has not been driven for approximately a year. Located near Loule, Algarve.

Shipper’s 101fc still available but now being sold as spares or repairs. Price has dropped accordingly..will accept offers around €10k.

This is a massive shame. They made so few.

As I said I don’t know much about the situation regarding the 101. I spoke (by email) to Shippers/Rob maybe twice in 20 years but I’ve been in touch with Barry recently who informs me that it’s been sitting for couple years now. I have been told it was road legal, passing very strict Portuguese inspections .
He didn’t complete matriculation, something to do with Customs, so it was parked up.
I haven’t contacted your friend. I sent many pictures with no response.

He told me that he thought the price was on the high side. Don't forget he doesn't speak/write English, which, you will remember, is why I offered to help with communication.
I think he may have moved on to other projects in the meantime. If he wanted to ask questions he'd have asked me to ask them. Sorry and all that.

But I'll pass on the £10k and "spares or repair" thing, along with what you just said, and then I'll step back.

€10000. Offers around ..It must go soon. Would probably accept €7000? It’s not my decision ultimately but she’s running out of money and has bills to pay.
